Abstrak

Background: Air pollution is an environmental issue that impacts public health. Dust resulting from high-activity areas is a common daily exposure that contributes to health problems, such as respiratory complaints (coughing, airway irritation, shortness of breath, and worsening asthma symptoms). Objective: To increase participants' knowledge regarding health issues caused by road dust and the process of hot steam inhalation. Methods: The activity employed a scientific lecture format combined with a practical demonstration of hot steam inhalation. Results: Evaluation was conducted by asking participants questions covering both the theory behind health issues caused by road dust and the preparation process for hot steam inhalation. All attendees (100%) were able to correctly answer questions regarding the theory of health issues associated with road dust and the proper preparation for hot steam inhalation. Conclusion: The educational session regarding health issues caused by road dust and the preparation process for hot steam inhalation was highly effective
